Tata Sky hikes their rates

All of a sudden, in the face of competition, Tata Sky decides to suddenly change the whole package that we had subscribed to. I had the ‘Super value pack’ and I used to pay about INR 300. Now, they suddenly decide that they’ll provide a special (BS!) package called ‘Sports platinum Package’ for INR 40 that includes Star Cricket, Star Sports, and ESPN. And they’ll charge INR 10 for Ten Sports. That makes it INR 50. They then decided to remove the 3 BBC channels and charge INR 15 for them. I think that is a rip off as now I am paying INR 315 per month when compared to INR 300 that I used to pay a month ago. Tata Sky is a rip off. I think people should wait and go in for the digital cable that Airtel and the others will soon start providing. Avoid Tata Sky for the hidden costs.
